What is Orthodontics?
Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry that specialises in correcting tooth alignment and malocclusions (bite problems), improving both the function and aesthetics of the smile.
Through orthodontic appliances, teeth can be moved into their ideal position, helping to avoid complications such as premature tooth wear, jaw problems and oral hygiene difficulties.
At Irene Esteve Dental Aesthetics, we differentiate ourselves by using the most advanced and personalised orthodontic techniques for each patient. From the first consultation, we carry out a detailed study of your situation using the latest technology, such as intraoral scans and 3D digital simulations.
Choosing us for your orthodontic treatment in Madrid means trusting a clinic with a focus on aesthetic and functional excellence. We are committed to offering you comfortable, fast treatment with the best results.
Before you get orthodontics…
When is it necessary?
Misaligned teeth: When the teeth are not correctly aligned, affecting the aesthetics and functionality of the bite.
Crossbite or open bite: Correction of malocclusions such as crossbite, open bite or overbite, which can cause jaw problems.
Dental crowding: When teeth are overlapping or “crowded”, making dental hygiene difficult and increasing the risk of caries.
Spaces between teeth (diastemas): To close excessive spaces between teeth and improve smile alignment.
Pronunciation problems: Misaligned teeth can affect the way certain sounds are articulated, and orthodontics can correct these problems.
Facial or dental growth problems: In children, orthodontics helps to correct abnormal growth of the jaw bones.

Durability and efficiency
With proper treatment, orthodontic results are maintained over the long term, ensuring a healthy, aligned smile for years to come.
What types of Orthodontics do we fit?
Invisible orthodontics
Invisaling. A system of clear aligners that are easily removed and virtually invisible. They offer maximum comfort and discretion, making them ideal for patients seeking to correct their smile without affecting their appearance.
Orthodontics for children
Interceptive orthodontics is specially designed for children, correcting bite and alignment problems at an early age, helping to guide the growth of the teeth and jaws into their correct position.
We adapt to your needs
Orthodontic treatment procedure
1st free visit
In this first visit, we conduct a complete study of your mouth to understand your needs and expectations. We gather important information such as x-rays and photographs, and evaluate the alignment of your teeth and bite. At this appointment we also answer all your questions about the types of orthodontics available.
3D intraoral scan and treatment plan
We use 3D intraoral scanning technology to create an accurate model of your teeth, without the need for traditional molds. From this scan, we design a personalized treatment plan, showing how your teeth will be aligned step by step with invisible aligners, depending on what best suits your needs.
Orthodontic placement
At the next visit, once you have approved the treatment plan, we will proceed to place your orthodontics. You will receive your first custom-made splints.
Regular reviews and adjustments
During treatment, follow-up appointments will be scheduled every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the type of orthodontics. At these appointments, we will provide you with new splints to continue the progressive alignment of your teeth.
Retention phase
Once the treatment is completed, we will place fixed or removable retainers to keep your teeth in their new position. This phase is crucial to prevent teeth from returning to their original position.
Opinions on orthodontic treatment
At Irene Esteve Dental Aesthetics we pride ourselves on offering exceptional care to each and every one of our patients. We deeply value your satisfaction and, for this reason, we love to share your opinions, which you can also consult on our Google profile.
10 months ago I contacted the clinic for invisible orthodontic treatment, my teeth were not too bad but I had the feeling that I didn’t have a wide smile. Irene advised me very well from the beginning and explained to me that we were going to focus the treatment mainly on vestibulizing to enlarge the smile. I have two splints left to finish the treatment and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The smile looks much wider and it has been a very pleasant process, for me the best!

From the first minute both she and her team made me feel very comfortable, they gave me great advice and the result has been wonderful. In just 5 months, my teeth are perfect.
I recommend it 100% to anyone who is considering it.
